Fully Tempered and Heat Strengthened glasses are heat-tempered glasses with supreme industrial quality. These kinds of glasses are produced by processing different glass types through a Horizontal Roller Hearth Oscillating Tempering Furnace, uniformly heating the glass, typically at 620°C, and then rapidly cooling or quenching the glass by simultaneously blowing cool air through evenly distributed high pressure air nozzles on both surfaces. High air flow rates produce Fully Tempered Glass and much lower airflow rates produce Heat-strengthened Glass. Both, these glasses have increased strength to resist higher levels of impact, mechanical load and thermal stress.

Qualities
- Two times as strong as annealed glass of similar thickness and configuration.
- Fractures in a manner similar to the annealed glass and tends to remain in the opening when broken.
- Intended for general glazing where additional strength and/or resistance to mechanical and/or thermal stress are desired.
- Should not be used where safety glazing is required.
- Relatively low optical distortion in comparison with tempered glass.
